Showreel

A showreel is a short video showcasing a person's work and experience. The purpose of a showreel is to let employers see what type of person you are.

The process of making my showreel was I first got all the clips I thought showcased my best work and highlighted my progress. When I trimmed the clips and put them in the order I wanted them, I then went onto a tutorial my tutor did about matte effect. I followed this tutorial on Adobe After Effects for the titles I am putting on my showreel. I did put my first college project in the beginning of my showreel and this is to show potential investors my progress and how much I have learnt and what techniques I still need to progress on. This shows them how determined I am to still grow and progress and become the best in the media industry. 

Once I did the titles I got the music from Ben sound and I found the right sound and then after I did finishing touches and put some transitions.

This was my first version of creating my showreel where I put all the clips together and did some transitions however I felt it needed some improvement so I made another version.

In this version I have added another picture to capture my photography skills and I have included some more transitions and synced the music better. This version is better than the previous one due to me upgrading it and the content I have included showcases my work.
